FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

We have multiple types of wax including; hard, soft, and sugar. We can customize any service to your skin and hair. Please let your waxer know if you have a preference or any sensitivities.

For best results, hair should be at least a quarter-inch long(2 weeks since shaving). This allows the wax to grip the hair properly for effective removal.

The recommended time between waxing sessions is approximately 3 to 6 weeks. This allows the hair to grow back sufficiently for effective removal while damaging the follicle frequently enough to cause permanent damage (hello smooth skin!)

Many pregnant individuals opt for waxing. However, it's advisable to consult with your healthcare provider before undergoing any waxing treatments during pregnancy. Our clients routinely wax up until their due date. (Who trusts a man down there with a razor? Not us!)

Aftercare is essential for maintaining smooth skin. We recommend avoiding sun exposure, hot baths, and heavy lotions immediately after waxing. Exfoliating the skin gently between appointments can also help prevent ingrown hairs.

We adhere to strict hygiene standards, including using sanitized equipment for each client, disposable applicators, and maintaining a clean and sanitized environment at all times.

No worries, we just ask that you use a tampon or cup during any intimate area appointments. Be sure to let your waxer know so she can avoid any strings and take extra precautions for sensitive skin.

We require a parent or guardian present for individuals under the age of 16.
